Cleopatra to Christ

Jesus, the great-grandson of Cleopatra

2024 edition, v6.8

Why did Persian king-makers attend the birth of a carpenter? Ellis reconstructs a royal genealogy from Cleopatra VII through her daughter into Judaea, with Roman and Parthian blood besides — the Magi as a political embassy, not a nativity play.

• Jesus descended from Cleopatra VII
• Aristocratic Roman and royal Persian ancestry
• The Magi as Parthian king-makers, not rustic witnesses
